Island Krapanj

This island in the southeast part of Sibenik’s channel is the smallest and lowers one (max 7m) uninhabited island in Adriatic Sea. 300m large straits separate Krapanj from the village Brodarica at the land.

Residents of island do more than 100 years traditional job – picking up the undersea mushrooms. In 15th and 16th century was there built monastery and church, which were extended later.We can find there special complex of museum of Picking up the undersea mushrooms.
